More than a simple bearer of shares of mutual funds, we want the Sextant Investor to be a real partner. Amiral Gestion’s managers share the same risks as you since they themselves have also invested their own money. We are therefore all in the same boat, together, for a long cruise lasting several years (be warned: there are going to be some storms!).
The partnership takes the shape of « Club Amiral ». We believe in adding competences, exchanging ideas and in contradiction. If you let us, we will call upon your professional experience and your domain of expertise to detect new investment opportunities and to expand our range of competences.
All holders of Sextant shares are invited to join Club Amiral. To do so, you need only to let us know by indicating to us the number of shares you own, your bank and the date of your subscription, as well as your occupation or your domain of professional competence (see above). Regularly, the members of the club, competent in a specific field, are invited to gather for lunch or for a work meeting.
You will also receive our newsletters by email.
Furthermore, you can participate in large part to the good management of our funds. Each of you has the possibility to detect a company rated of great quality. Thanks to your knowledge of an occupation, of a technology, of one of your clients or highly capable suppliers, you could have a head start on the market, (beware, we are not talking about insider trading, forbidden by law and especially not very fair game).
Here are a few criteria concerning your next idea that will captivate all of our attention:
1 – you understand the trade of the company well as it is part of your professional field.
2 – we also would be capable of understanding it (probably a little more difficult, we are for example not biologists, computer engineers, and our IQ’s are sadly average.
3 – you know the management of the company, directly or indirectly, and it is of great quality, respecting the law, their clients, and their personnel, and in any case a little bit their shareholders
4 – the company sees regular growth in their year to date earnings
5 – the company is little known to investors. Above all, don’t hesitate to share your remarks and ideas with us, by sending us a message
